We Raise Up Our Glasses
Some of these songs have been with me for several years, a few were written during the recording. This record took a number of running starts to complete before the notion of releasing it into the world ceased to be unreasonable.
Control freak that i am, i ended up doing everything myself, except....
• except for the marvelous trumpet solo played by Steve Eklund on “how in the world”
• except for Tony Moore, who gave me ProTools tips, loaned me some good mics and a Steinberger celloBass used for several tunes—one of the most satisfying instruments i’ve ever played
• except for Rick Fields (SilverOrb Media Services) who endured a lot of my whining and sonically unified the collection.
